Cary B. Bowen
Mr. Bowen, one of the firm's founding partners, is a highly regarded and well-respected criminal defense attorney who is sought throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to represent clients. Colleagues point to Mr. Bowen's skills, integrity and credibility as the main reasons why other lawyers, judges and prosecutors hold him in such high esteem. He is as dedicated to the law in a simple traffic case as he is in a high-profile capital murder case and devotes his full attention to ensuring that all his clients get the best representation.

Michael J. Champlin
Michael J. Champlin is highly respected for his honesty and integrity by his colleagues, his clients and the attorneys he opposes in litigation. His practice falls under the umbrella of general civil litigation, including cases ranging from debtor/creditor relations to wills & estates. A graduate of Wake Forest University and the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Mr. Champlin also has shared his legal knowledge with students as an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond for 20 years. He is active in the Wake Forest Club of Richmond, the Richmond Symphony Chorus and is a member of the Richmond, Henrico and Chesterfield bar associations. He is listed among Who's Who in America, and his other activities include chairmanships at several churches, a member of several choirs, Phi Alpha Delta, International Law Society and Counsel, Sigma Pi. Gregory D. Foreman
Gregory D. Foreman, a Partner in the Firm, is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he was named to the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Fraternity.
Greg obtained his law degree from the T. C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. During law school, Greg worked part-time for a Richmond-based title insurance company. Following being named a Distinguished Military Graduate, Army ROTC, Greg served as an Officer in the United States Army.
Greg Foreman’s areas of legal concentration include residential and commercial real estate, condemnation/eminent domain, land use and zoning, business and commercial legal matters (including formation, advice and counsel, to and for corporations and limited liability companies), restaurant representation, estate planning, family law, bankruptcy creditor matters and litigation involving those areas of practice before the Virginia and Federal Courts.
Greg is a member of the Chesterfield County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Virginia State Bar Sections on Real Estate, Business Law, Family Law, Local Government and Construction Law. Greg is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Since 1980 Greg has enjoyed serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Richmond teaching courses in Real Estate Law, Contract Law, Land Use/Zoning Law and Constitutional Law, where he has twice been named the Distinguished Faculty Member of the Year. Greg has also been a frequent speaker on real estate and mortgage banking legal topics for such groups as the Mid-Atlantic Mortgage Bankers Association, the Richmond Board of Realtors, the Richmond Bar Association, the National Business Institute and several national title insurance companies.
Greg feels that each client’s matter is uniquely important and should be handled with that attitude. He is devoted to the best interests of his clients, many of whom have become his good friends over the years.

John A. Rockecharlie
John Rockecharlie is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, John was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1987. He began his legal career as a prosecutor for the City of Richmond and quickly became the Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in charge of the Manchester Courthouse. He handled a wide range of criminal cases from violent crime to white collar fraud in both the Circuit and General District Court.
In 1992 he joined the Chesterfield County Commonwealth Attorney's Office and prosecuted criminal cases in the county until 1994. At that time he went into the area of personal injury law as an attorney with Nationwide Insurance. For two years he represented the interests of individual policy holders who were involved in personal injury litigation.
In 1996 he rejoined the Richmond Commonwealth Attorney's Office as a Deputy Commonwealth Attorney, this time in charge of the juvenile court. In 1998 John joined the firm and he is now the managing partner.
John has gained a wealth of experience during his many years of practice. He has participated in over 250 jury trials involing issues as varied as multi-million dollar claims to defending people charged with capital murder and all types of matters in between. He is widely respected for his passionate advocacy on behalf of his clients. He is recognized as a leader among criminal defense attorneys in the Richmond Metro area. G. Russell Stone, Jr.
Russ Stone joined the practice in 2004 and handles primarily criminal trials and appeals along with some domestic and civil matters in all courts. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1986 and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1989. He spent 15 years as a prosecutor prior to entering the private practice of law. He has served as Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Chief Counsel to the Financial Investigations and Money Laundering Unit of the Virginia Attorney General's Office, Regional Drug Prosecutor for the Richmond Metro Multi-Jurisdiction Grand Jury and was a cross-designated Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. He has handled a variety of cases around the Commonwealth and has handled more than 100 jury trials in State and Federal courts. He is a father to one daughter and is a huge fan of the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series.

William T. Fitzhugh
Will Fitzhugh concentrates his practice in domestic relations and criminal matters. He is a 1992 graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond where he received the Charles T. Norman Award as Best All-Around Law Graduate and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Fitzhugh was a founding board member of Chesterfield County Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA, which is an organization of volunteers appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children as they journey through the court system. Mr. Fitzhugh is actively involved in the resolution of disputes through Collaborative Law with the Collaborative Professionals of Richmond.

Susan L. Parrish
Ms. Parrish's practice focuses on criminal defense and personal injury civil litigation. A former prosecutor in Richmond and Henrico county, she prosecuted violent crimes, including murder, rape, and robbery. She also supervised the prosecution of both Exile and sexual assault cases in Richmond. As an assistant Attorney General, she briefed and argued appellate cases before the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Virginia Supreme Court.
Susan began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable James B. Wilkinson in Richmond Circuit Court. Jacqueline M. Ford
Jacqueline M. Ford is an experienced trial lawyer and fierce advocate for her clients. Aileen F. Tucker
Aileen concentrates primarily in domestic law. Tucker, a Qualified Guardian ad Litem, enjoys helping families deal with special education issues within school systems, and her advocacy work on behalf of children. Tucker, a former Kindergarten teacher, is a graduate of Mary Washington College and the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. While in law school, she completed internships with the Youth Advocacy and Mental Disabilities Law Clinics and at Central Virginia Legal Aid. She received the Family Law Award and Public Interest Law Association Pro Bono Award. Tucker, who is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Bar Association, also served as a volunteer with the Legal Information Network for Cancer (LINC).

__Brittany Corbett
_Brittany Corbett is a native of Chesterfield, Virginia and joined the
firm in 2009. She is a graduate of James Madison University with a
degree in Psychology and T.C. Williams School of Law at the University
of Richmond where she earned a Family Law Certificate in addition to her
Juris Doctor. Ms. Corbett has firsthand experience in the challenges
of special needs children. She provided weekly tutoring to a foster
child with emotional and behavioral needs while at JMU and participated
in the Disability Law Clinic.
Ms. Corbett’s practice encompasses custody, visitation and other family law matters as well as representation in General District Court criminal cases. She can provide representation in Special Education cases and other civil litigation. Ms. Corbett is a certified Guardian ad litem and court appointed counsel for misdemeanor criminal cases.

___Gretchen Hutt Brown
__Gretchen is an experienced trial lawyer who returned to Richmond after
eight years as an assistant prosecutor in Lynchburg, Virginia. She
obtained her undergraduate degree from Radford University, and she went
on to law school at the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of
Law. Gretchen spent a year in private practice after being admitted into
the Virginia Bar in 2001 and then she joined the Lynchburg Commonwealth
Attorney’s Office. Gretchen prosecuted a wide array of felonies and
misdemeanors in the Juvenile, General District, and Circuit Courts of
Lynchburg. She graduated from the Virginia Association of Commonwealth
Attorneys Top Gun and Murder I Programs, where she received specialized
training in trial advocacy and cross-examination. Gretchen now plans to
utilize her extensive courtroom experience to advocate on behalf of her
private clients.
Gretchen is a third generation attorney. She was raised in Westmoreland County, and she hopes to use her strong ties to the Northern Neck as well as the Middle Peninsula to expand her business in that region. Gretchen’s practice areas include criminal defense, divorce, child custody, and civil litigation generally. She is an avid horse enthusiast, and hopes to expand the firm’s practice area to include equestrian law here in Virginia.

___Amanda Crouch has extensive experience in civil litigation and lender representation in Virginia state courts. Amanda’s practice primarily focuses on creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, criminal defense, domestic relations and personal injury law. Amanda received her bachelor of arts in 2004 from James Madison University with a double major in English and Philosophy. Amanda then attended Appalachian School of Law in southwestern Virginia and received her juris doctor in 2007. She was admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2007. Immediately after passing the bar Amanda clerked in the Hanover Circuit Court for the Honorable Judges Alderman, Harris and Ellis.
